Generally, Bangladeshi students go abroad for higher education after completing their HSC or equivalent examinations. Yes, some students go abroad for school level studies with family members, but their number is very small and it depends on the specific situation. If you are a citizen of Bangladesh and have completed your HSC or equivalent examinations, then you can plan to study abroad for a bachelor’s program. Of course, there are some additional requirements for this such as an English language test, written test, writing a ‘Statement of Purpose’ etc. You can discuss with us what exactly you need.

As a first step, you must have passed HSC or equivalent exam. Then you will have to take an ‘English language’ test that is accepted in your country of choice. For example, if you want to apply to USA, you have various options like IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo etc. Again, in some countries, you can prove your English proficiency by taking an ‘entrance exam’ organized by the university. The main thing is, for direct admission to a Bachelor’s program through English, you will have to prove minimum English proficiency. You will also need relevant documents like passport, CV, testimonial/reference letter etc. The document requirements of each country are different, so you will have to prepare the documents as per the requirements of the country of your choice.

Masters programs usually require more documents. First, you must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized public or private university in Bangladesh. A good CGPA score is the foundation of your Masters program. We recommend that students take English proficiency tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Duolingo, etc. according to their country of choice. A good English test score increases your chances of getting admission in good universities and also helps in getting scholarships.

If your Bachelor’s program was taught in English, you can use it as an alternative to the English language certificate by submitting a ‘Medium of Instruction’ certificate. In addition, you will need a good ‘Statement of Purpose’, CV/Resume, Recommendation Letters and all previous academic documents. If you are employed, you can provide proof of your employment by submitting an ‘Employment Letter’.

Additional documents may be required, which depends entirely on your country of choice and the specific university.

Some documents may require evaluation or notarization. We will work with the students to prepare the documents in accordance with all the embassy requirements.
